Ivko Stanev, M.Arch. has over 14 years of experience in the design, construction and author's supervision of residential and tourist buildings and complexes.
His professional passion are the one-family houses, and since the beginning of 2019 he has also been a certified designer of passive and low-energy buildings.
Since 2014 until now he is the chief designer at the architectural studio "Vamos", where he is responsible for the design, interior design and the implementation of large-scale hotel developments. Among his projects are luxury and prestigious buildings and complexes, realized both in the capital and throughout the country.
Over 2 years (2012 - 2014) Stanev, M.Arch. develops his professional portfolio by working on the design and construction of residential and public buildings as part of "Stroyconsult 999" with the manager architect Yuri Angelov.
In 2011 he is part of the team of the Property Management Department at the Council of Ministers. He also has experience in specialized editions in the field of architecture and design. For 2 years he has been an editor in The Home magazine. His author publications include professional analyzes of architectural projects from around the world, interviews with Bulgarian and world famous designers and articles on current architectural and construction themes.
In the period 2006-2009, together with the team of "Studio 90" and the architects Ivan Novakov and Lyubomir Semerdzhiev, he worked on the design of residential and holiday buildings, sports, public and commercial complexes and master plans.
His professional career began in 2005 as an architectural designer in the Bulgarian Consultant Center under the leadership of Donka Stoyanova, M.Arch.
He graduated as a Master of Architecture at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in 2009 in the Department of Residential Buildings. He graduated from the Secondary School of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy "Nikola Fichev" in Pleven.
He holds a Passive House Designer Certificate after successfully passing a course and taking an exam at the Passive House Institute.
